Unique Alaskan Spirits
The idea for Alaska Outlaw Cards was sprung sometime in 2007 in Anchorage, Alaska amidst a major local corruption scandal featuring a large cast of colorful Alaska characters. Grab your history books and you will find that this has been a long-time state tradition: swindling, bribing, cheating and otherwise bucking the establishment in uniquely rebellious Alaska style. Hence, the Alaska Outlaw Cards were born.
Share them with your friends, send one as a gift to your Uncle Ted, or start up a friendly game of poker, just don't get caught cheating. This quality deck of 52 playing cards (and two Jokers) features 52 different Alaska characters.
Alaska Outlaws, Rebels & Cons Playing Card Editions
Second Edition
Release in April 2010, this printing of Alaska Outlaws, Rebels & Cons features 17 new Outlaws, 2010 updates on our favorite Outlaws, along with two surprise Alaska Jokers in a newly designed black border tuck box.
Limited First Edition
Released in December 2008, this limited printing of 1000 decks features the original deck of 52 Alaska Outlaws with 2 stylized jokers. The deck comes cello-wrapped and inserted into a white, windowless tuck box with a sticker backing featuring the product description. The deck also includes typographical errors on the 4♠, K♠, Q♥, and 2♠ cards. Due to a manufacturing error, all of the bottom numbers on all cards are also inverted, reading right-side up when they should be flipped. This was corrected in later editions.
Edition 1.2
The second printing of 5000 decks was released in January 2009 and featured the same 52 outlaws and 2 jokers in new, full-color tuck boxes. In addition, all of the typographical errors in Edition I.I were corrected, and all bottom numbers on the cards were flipped into the normal “inverted” position. Due to another manufacturer's error, however, all of the 9♠ cards still incorrectly had the "right-side up" number on the bottom.
Edition 1.3
The third printing of 10,000 arrived in June 2009 and featured enhanced graphics, updated photos, and biographical updates to Ted Stevens and The Eagle Lady. This first edition is currently available for sale on this website and with select retailers.
